National independent adjusting firm seeks persons who is capable of working property and liability claims part or full time in the Opelika/Montgomery Alabama and Roanoke Va areas. Travel of 100 to 150 mile radius from these areas will be required. Note that this will be two positions for areas of specific need. We are willing to train the right person. This will be a great opportunity for someone to work into a 6 figure income. Qualifications
The best candidate for this position will be someone who has the following. 1- a police officer, fireman or investigator. These make great adjusters to investigate our on-scene accidents. 2- Someone with a construction background who is computer savvy. We will train to use our estimating software and to scope damage to structures. Must be willing to get on roofs and have dependable transportation. You will be required to take calls 24 hours per day in the event of an on-scene accident and the need to travel to the scene to gather information. Although this is not a frequent occurrence, it does happen on occasion. Must be neat in appearance, communicate well and willing to obtain a state adjusters license if required.

Compensation
You will be paid as a 1099 employee. You will be responsible for your own taxes, insurance and equipment. You will receive a greater pay scale by working as a 1099. In some cases we offer a small salary or draw against commission and some expense for the right candidate. However, this is rare since we are investing our time and money into your training.
